Diane Walker has more than thirty years of experience in the NYC and global fashion industry. She is recognized for her expertise in product development, fit engineering, global sourcing, and both large- and small-scale production management. She has served as an adjunct professor at Marist College, where she taught private-label design and development and mentored emerging apparel professionals.

After earning a B.A. in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute, Diane joined a leading women’s private label importer as a fit technician and quickly rose to the position of head designer. In 2008, she expanded her vision by founding Sweenie Manufacturing, creating a trusted U.S. partner for brands, startups, and designers seeking technical design, sample development, and both domestic and overseas production.
