Sweenie Manufacturing offers full-service product development, production support, and fabric sourcing. From order placement, procurement, approval, and product delivery, we’ll be with you the whole way. We review all first fit, preproduction, and T.O.P. samples for quality. We check all fabrics for print and color approval. Our quality control inspects the goods all throughout the process to ensure all statements are met.

The Process

Sweenie Manufacturing provides end-to-end production support, taking you through the entire process. From designing to material sourcing to manufacturing to delivery, we oversee the entire process. We have established supply chains, ethical partners, and rigorous quality control to ensure memorable and lasting results.

  • The first step is to meet with us to plan. Whether you have industry experience or not, we can help you develop a clear plan. We take care of interpreting and developing your vision. We will provide all items needed for production. This includes sketches, techpacks, patternmaking, the fit process, and grading and marking.

    A key component is patternmaking and fittings. We guide your idea through the complete process to build three-dimensional wearable products. We’ll ensure the creation of perfectly-fitted garments.

    This frees you up to focus on your key objectives through sales and marketing. We will offer consultation to help define the direction and success of your line.

  • Sweenie Manufacturing has domestic and overseas mill partners in Europe, Asia, and Central and South America. This allows us to offer a variety of base fabrics, including custom designs, biodegradable materials, and recycled fabrics. For activewear, we can develop specialized fabrics that are anti-microbial, water repellent, and/or quick dry. For swimwear and intimates, we can develop prints as sublimation, digital, or rotary. We also have partners who specialize in Pima cotton, French terry, fleece, and more. We supply eco-friendly fabrics and provide ethical manufacturing.

    Our support team conducts seasonal research and attends trade shows worldwide. This ensures we are keeping up with the most current industry trends.

  • Part of our process includes guidance through patternmaking and fitting. More than just meeting spec guidelines, we are experts in interpreting the aesthetic of each design with a huge amount of industry experience. Our experienced patternmakers and development teams have a great eye and honed skills. We will guide you every step of the way through the patternmaking and fabric and trim selection process. We’ll interpret your designs into a buildable product.

    We also offer full-service design and production for all trims and packaging. We will provide you with the full package for ready-to-wear delivery to your warehouse, in the U.S. or overseas.

  • We have a number of strategic partners both here in the U.S. and around the world. This allows us to offer full-service control of order placement, procurement, and product delivery. We review all fabrics for quality, print and color approval, and any required testing. We check all fit samples, preproduction samples, and T.O.P. samples to make sure of proper fit and finish.

    As the line is produced, we have quality control in place to inspect the goods throughout. We will ensure all standards are met before the completion of the process.
